Showroom graphic support accelerates product launches and boosts ROI for Jaguar Land Rover

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is one of the automotive industry’s most prestigious brands, renowned for luxury, performance, and meticulous engineering. Its showrooms serve not only as commercial spaces but as curated experiences, where every visual element reinforces the quality and craftsmanship of its world-renowned vehicles. 


For major launches, wall and window graphics play a particularly crucial role. They communicate key product features, showcase the brand’s premium positioning, and create immersive environments that capture visitors’ attention. But with its existing MDF-backed vinyl creating a logistical challenge, JLR required an alternative that was not only lightweight but visually striking, cost effective, and capable of being turned around at speed.

The Challenge

JLR was working to a strict launch schedule, with multiple showrooms needing to be fully prepared for a high-profile vehicle release. Any delays in getting displays in place risked more than inconvenience – they could affect sales readiness, disrupt showroom operations, and undermine the carefully crafted customer experience.

At the heart of the problem were the existing MDF-backed panels. They were heavy, awkward to manoeuvre, and difficult for showroom teams to install safely, particularly when work had to be carried out overnight to meet launch deadlines. Shipping and storing bulky panels were also a major expense, while reliance on specialist installers reduced operational control and slowed turnaround times. Meeting these demands required a holistic rethink of materials, production, and logistics, ensuring the solution could meet every challenge head on.

Our solution

With the clock ticking on a high-profile vehicle launch, Dominion knew the answer had to solve multiple problems at once: it had to be safe, quick to install, visually striking, and easy to manage at scale. Rather than simply replacing the old panels with another potentially problematic solution, we rethought the approach entirely.


We turned to our Tensionpix system with dye-sublimation fabric printing to create a series of lightweight aluminium frames. Each frame was pre-drilled, allowing showroom teams to secure them to the walls quickly and confidently. Meanwhile, the graphics were printed on washable fabric that stretches easily, designed to retain vivid colour and a premium finish while being easy for staff to secure into place – no heavy lifting or specialist tools required. Each graphic was then dispatched in protective mail packs, minimising shipping costs and eliminating the risk of damage in transit.

The results

Immediate and tangible, the outcome was transformative for JLR. Overnight installations that once felt stressful became straightforward, and showrooms were able to bring high-profile launches to life on schedule. Ultimately, staff felt safer, more confident, and more in control, removing the friction and risk that had slowed previous campaigns.

Beyond operational ease, the solution delivered real commercial benefits too. Shipping and storage costs dropped, reliance on third-party installers vanished, and the fabrics’ reusable nature meant future launches could be executed quickly without the expense of full replacements. Launch timelines shrank, campaigns hit the showroom floor as planned, and JLR’s premium presentation remained uncompromised in the face of potential buyers.
